Bison Athletic Hall of Fame
Guided North Dakota State’s sports publicity arm during an unprecedented period of excellence. He was directly responsible for the expanded historical and record sections in all men’s sports, improved releases and publication efforts and helped a large number of Bison athletes earn All-America accolades. Charter member of the Bison Hall of Fame Committee. Member of the Fargo Forum news staff that won a Pultizer Prize for coverage of the June 1957 tornado that ransacked the community. Won two North Dakota Sportswriter of the Year awards (1964 and 1965).
