One of the top women’s distance runners in Bison history, she was a two-time NCAA Division II All-American in cross country with a 19th place in 1988 and a 24th-place finish in 1987...Three-time Division II All-American in track running the 3000, 5000 and 10,000 meters...Member of the 1985 North Central Conference and NCAA regional championship cross country teams, placing third at the NCC meet...Two-time NCC runner-up in 1987 and 1988...Part of three NCC indoor and four NCC outdoor titles in track and field, and won an individual crown in the outdoor 10,000 meters in 1989...Three-time NCC Academic At-Large first team...Graduated from NDSU in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate and community fitness, earned her master’s in exercise physiology in 1991 from St. Cloud State, and received her doctorate in human performance with a minor in public health from Oregon State in 1991...Works as a full-time professor of health and human performance at Central Oregon Community College and is the exercise physiology lab director.
