Starting center fielder for the 2000 NCAA Division II national championship team...North Dakota State advanced to the NCAA tournament all four seasons including three North Central Region championships...After the national title in 2000, the Bison made a fifth-place national finish in 2002 and placed third in 2003...NDSU won the 2002 North Central Conference tournament...The Bison compiled a 213-37 ledger during her career including a Division II record for single-season wins going 68-10 in 2000...Named to the 2003 NFCA Division II All-America first team...NCAA Division II North Central Region all-tournament team in 2002...Named the 2000 North Central Conference Freshman of the Year...Three-time All-NCC pick...Career .354 batting average with eight home runs and 135 RBIs...Started in 232 of 237 games played with 181 runs scored, 61 doubles and 13 triples...As freshman, made a dramatic catch in the national championship game against Kennesaw State, hitting the fence in left-center to take away a home run with the bases-loaded and two outs in the first inning...Upon induction, still ranked in NDSU’s career top 10 in nine different categories including No. 2 in triples (13), No. 3 in doubles (61) and No. 5 in sacrifice hits (30)...Completed a master’s degree in education at the University of Minnesota and began a teaching career in family and consumer science...Inducted into the Mankato East High School Hall of Fame in 2021.
