High School where he was a five-time state tournament placewinner including a state title in 1986...Won 171 matches in his prep career and was a two-time Greco-Roman Junior Nationals All-American...Graduated from NDSU in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in physical education, earned a master's degree in education from St. Mary's University in 1988, and his administrative licensure from St. Mary's in 2000...Recently celebrated his 20th year teaching in the Stillwater (Minn.) school district and is an assistant coach with the Stillwater High School wrestling team...Resides in Hudson, Wis., with his wife, Jill, and daughter, Lindsey...Oldest daughter, Cassie, attends NDSU and is a member of the women's golf team.
