Bison Athletic Hall of Fame
Two-year starter at offensive guard and tackle for the Bison national championship teams in 1968 and 1969. Named to the All-NCC squad his senior year in football and was an honorable mention to the All-America team. Member of winning Pecan Bowl (1968) and Camellia Bowl (1969) teams. Two-time NCC runner-up at heavyweight for the Bison wrestling team in 1969 and 1970. Compiled a 19-5 career mat record. Transferred from the University of Minnesota in 1967. Coaching stops included NDSU, North Dakota State College of Science and the University of South Dakota.
