AVCA Division II All-America second team in 1991 and first team in 1992...ASICS/Volleyball Monthly Division II All-America first team in 1992...Three-time AVCA All-Region first team...1991 NCAA Elite All-Tournament team...MVP of 1991 NCAA North Central Regional...NDSU advanced to NCAA Elite Eight all four seasons, national a runner-up finish in 1990 and third place in 1989 and 1991...Three-time All-North Central Conference first team, including 1992 MVP honors...Two-time Academic All-NCC first team...Led the NCC in assists as a sophomore and junior...Three-time NCC Player of the Week...NDSU won four straight league titles during her career...Part of NDSU's record home winning streak of 42 consecutive matches...On the NDSU career charts, still ranks No. 2 in assists (4,870) and No. 8 in service aces (178)...Held the NDSU three-set match and five-set match records for assists from 1991 to 1998...Raised in rural Winger, Minn., and attended Win-E-Mac High School, where she lettered in volleyball, basketball, and track and field...Part of the volleyball state runner-up teams in 1986 and 1987 and a state championship in 1988...Earned all-state honors as a junior and senior....Also a state tournament participant in basketball and track and field...Graduated in 1993 from the NDSU hospitality and tourism management program...Worked as a manager of NordicTrack's Healthy Express restaurant from 1993 to 1997 and has been a stay-at-home mother since 1998...She and her husband, Brandt, reside in Lino Lakes, Minn., with their four children, Brandon, Brooke, Catherine and Christian.
