Following a team title at the Bradley Pink Classic, the North Dakota State men's cross country team is ranked sixth in the USTFCCCA regional rankings – a new all-time high in the program's Division I era.
NDSU's No. 6 ranking in the Midwest Region is its best since it became eligible for Division I championship competition in 2008. The previous high for the Bison was a No. 10 ranking late last season.
The Midwest Region includes nearly 40 Division I schools in a nine-state area comprised of Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma and South Dakota.
The Bison men captured the team championship at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill., last Friday, beating Kentucky, Iowa and Michigan to top the podium. Senior Hunter Klimek paced NDSU for the fourth consecutive meet.
The Bison will race next on Nov. 2 at the Summit League Championships in Vermillion, S.D.
