Ashley Pfleger

Ashley Pfleger returned to the North Dakota State University athletic department in 2023-24 as an assistant athletic trainer for the NDSU softball team.

Pfleger was a graduate assistant at NDSU from 2007 to 2009 working with the Bison softball team that made it to the NCAA Super Regional in 2009 and won two Summit League championships in 2008 and 2009.

After her first stint at NDSU, she worked at Montana State from 2009 to 2012 with the women’s basketball team, men’s and women’s tennis teams, and the spirit squad.

Pfleger left the college ranks to work with Forest Lake High School in Minnesota for two years before switching to orthopedics for about eight years with Fairview and Allina Health in the Twin Cities.

A native of Polk City, Iowa, Pfleger earned an athletic training degree from Buena Vista University, where she was a member of the women's volleyball team. She earned a master's degree from NDSU in 2009.
 
She and her husband, Jason, have two daughters, Willa and Tessa.
