WE B Giving Foundation Bison Athletics Operations Center

The Bison Athletics Operations Center opened in September 2023 and was made possible by a $15 million gift from the WE B Giving Foundation, a private family foundation established by Tom and Dawn Blattner.

The building is connected to the Nodak Insurance Football Performance Complex, which features full-sized indoor and outdoor practice fields for the Bison football team.

A weight room and fueling station on the north end of the facility serves the NDSU football team year-round. This second strength and conditioning facility allows more space for other NDSU athletic teams training in the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.

On the south end of the building, the Bison football team has a permanent locker room, meeting rooms, equipment room, sports medicine, and hydrotherapy pools.

The Legacy Lounge on the second floor provides a flexible meeting space for large groups and gatherings with LED display screens and a retractable glass wall for viewing the indoor practice field.
