NDSU Women’s Cross Country Competes at Summit League Championships Saturday

The North Dakota State University women's cross country team will compete at the Summit League Championships this Saturday, Oct. 31, in St. Paul, Minn.

St. Thomas will host the meet at the Highland 9 Hole Golf Course. The women's six-kilometer race will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the men's 8k race at 12 p.m.

The NDSU women will be in search of their sixth Summit League team title in cross country, claiming championships previously in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2019, and 2022. NDSU finished third last year with 71 points in the team standings.

Jade Rypkema has led the Bison women in all three meets she has entered this season, including a personal-best 20:05.4 in the 6k at the Roy Griak Invitational in September – the second-fastest 6k in school history.

Logan Harz has been the regular No. 2 finisher for NDSU this season, with Reagan Berg, Kylie Nelson, Mia Hoffmann and Hannah Boese consistently factoring in the scoring for the Bison.

NDSU has finished top-three as a team at the Summit League Cross Country Championships 17 straight times since 2009. The Bison women have captured five Summit League individual crowns in cross country.
