Renschler’s 200m Headlines Bison Performances at Gary Wilson Invite

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Standout sophomore sprinter Paige Renschler headlined the performances of the North Dakota State women's track & field team at Minnesota's Gary Wilson Invite on Wednesday.
Renschler (Fargo, N.D.) won the 200m dash in 23.20 – the second-fastest time in school history behind only Kendra Kelley's school record of 23.19.
Bison sophomore Elise Wisnewski ran 23.54 in the 200m to tie for fourth-fastest in NDSU history.
Renschler also captured the title in the 100m dash in a blazing – but wind-aided – 11.11, and Wisnewski was sixth in a wind-aided 11.38.
Freshman Jenna Schutt threw a personal-best 154-3 (47.03m) in the javelin to move up to seventh in NDSU history.
Arienne Birch won the high jump by clearing 5-09.25 (1.76m).
Corene Moeller took first in the 800m in 2:14.91.
Adison Kapitzke was the runner-up in the shot put with a throw of 49-02.25 (14.99m). Riley Quinn threw an outdoor PR of 48-8 (14.83m) for third.
Grace VanErp took second in the triple jump with a wind-aided 40-11 (12.47m). Ella Gardner was second in the long jump with a wind-aided 19-4 (5.89m).
Yolanda Nabwe matched her personal-best to take third in the long jump at 18-11.25 (5.77m).
Sydney Arndt ran a personal-best 13.65 in the 100m hurdles to take third place in the meet, and Marvelous Onwualo was fourth in 14.07.
Reese Rogowski led the Bison women in the 400m dash, clocking 55.31 for third place. Kaela Skistad took fourth in 57.23.
Kendal Stingle took fifth in the 400m hurdles with the second-best time of her career in 1:00.34.
Ashley Rusthoven placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 146-7 (44.68m). Elise Magaard was sixth at 143-10 (43.86m).
Competing unattached, Casidi Pehler cleared an outdoor personal-best 12-8 (3.86m) to take second in the pole vault.
