NDSU Softball Has Five Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State softball had five student-athletes selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Softball Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Senior Piper Reed was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for the second time in her career, while Bella Dean, Amai Hanta, Lileigh Nieto and Madison Wihlm all selected to the team for the first time. All five Bison had at least a 3.6 grade point average.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 16.
