NDSU Men’s Golf Earns Platform Golf Team Academic Honor

NORMAN, Okla. – The North Dakota State men's golf team has been recognized as an All-Academic Team in the annual Platform Golf Team Academic Awards from the 2025-26 school year, as announced Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
The Bison program received Presidents Special Recognition at the NCAA Division I level for having compiled a team grade-point average above 3.5. NDSU posted eight 4.0 GPAs this spring and had a cumulative GPA of 3.95 following the Summit League Tournament Championship winning season.
Bison seniors Gabe Benson, Rylin Petry and Jake Skarperud were honored on Monday as a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars.
A GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award. 155 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above in 2025-26.
