Rypkema, Moe Sweep Summit League Peak Performer Honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State's Jade Rypkema and Ethan Moe swept The Summit League's Cross Country Peak Performer of the Week awards, the league announced Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Rypkema and Moe were the top Bison finishers at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 18, where both squads recorded the highest team finish at the meet in NDSU's Division I era.
Rypkema placed sixth overall in a time of 20:05.4 – the second-fastest 6k in school history – to lead the Bison women to a third-place team finish. This is her second straight Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honor.
Moe took ninth place overall in the men's race with an 8k time of 24:11.1. It was the second-fastest 8k time of his career and the best finish by a Bison runner at the Griak in Division I.
The Bison will race next at the SDSU Classic in Brookings, S.D., on Friday, Oct. 2.
