Jaime Adams

Jaime Adams was named an assistant coach at North Dakota State on April 29, 2022. 

Adams returns to NDSU for her second stint with the program after spending four seasons from 2008-12 as an assistant coach. She also played at NDSU from 1997-01 and was a starter on the 2000 NCAA Division II national runner-up team. Adams earned 2001 Daktronics Division II All-America Third Team honors and was recently inducted into the Bison Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.

Adams helped NDSU to its most wins in the Division I era and most since 2004-05 with a 22-12 (13-3 Summit) overall record in 2023-24. The Bison finished in second place in the Summit League and went on to appear in their first-ever Summit League Tournament championship game. NDSU closed the season winning its first WNIT game in program history over Montana and advanced to the WNIT Super 16 round against Minnesota. The Bison completed the 2023-24 season ranking in the top 30 nationally in three-point percentage (13th, 36.8), free throw percentage (21st, 15.03) and scoring offense (29th, 75.4).

Prior to returning to NDSU, Adams was the athletic director, head varsity girls basketball coach and k-12 physical education teacher at Mohall Lansford Sherwood High School. She began her coaching career at South Dakota as a graduate assistant from 2006-08 and helped the Coyotes advance to the 2007-08 NCAA Division II National Championship game.
