SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State golfer Carter White has been named the Summit League Peak Men's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season, league officials announced on Thursday morning.
Â
White posted a 54-hole total of 216 (+6) at the Metropolis Intercollegiate, earning his second top-five finish of the season. The second-year golfer fired rounds of 74, 72 and 70 to help guide NDSU to a fourth-place finish in White Plains, New York.
Â
The highlight of the week for White was his hole-in-one in the second round. After carding an eagle on hole 1, White grabbed nine pars over the next 13 holes to sit at three-over. White then spun his tee shot back into the cup on hole 15, a 151-yard par 3. It was White's first collegiate hole-in-one, and the first this season for the Bison.
Â
Starting on hole 9 in the final round, White grabbed a par on the 158-yard par 3, before carding a birdie and a two-over 37 on the back nine. He then fired three birdies over his next four holes to finish with a two-under 33 on the front nine. The even-par 70 jumped White 11 spots up the leaderboard, closing the tournament with a solo finish in fifth.
Â
Thursday's honor is the third Golfer of the Week accolade for White, and his second this season. He earned Co-Golfer of the Week honors with fellow Bison Jake Skarperud in September 2025, following a third place at the Bluejay Invitational. He also received the accolade in the opening week of this season for NDSU, following his first collegiate win at the ANF Fall Classic last month.
Â
White and the Bison continue their fall portion of the schedule next week, when they travel to West Des Moines, Iowa for the Zach Johnson Invitational on October 19-20.
