NDSU Women’s Basketball Receiving Votes in Latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll

FARGO, N.D. – For the third straight week and fourth time overall this season, the North Dakota State women's basketball team is receiving votes in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Monday morning.
The Bison (25-2, 14-0 Summit) picked up seven votes this week and joins Colorado (23), Fairfield (18), Tennessee (12), Columbia (10), Rhode Island (7), Virginia (6), Villanova (6), Southern Cal (5), Rice (4), Iowa State (3), Syracuse (2), Illinois (2), Notre Dame (1), Washington (1) and NC State (1) receiving votes. UConn holds the top spot with a 29-0 record and all 31 first-place votes.
The Bison clinched at least a share of the Summit League regular season title for the first time in program history after topping South Dakota, 81-68, on Saturday in Vermillion. NDSU has won 23 straight games, which is the second-longest active win streak in the country and longest in Summit League history.
NDSU is currently slotted No. 41 in the latest NCAA NET rankings, which is the highest in the Summit League. The Bison have also been ranked No. 1 in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll each of the last three weeks for the first time in program history.

NDSU will be back in action hosting South Dakota State on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
