NDSU Cross Country Races at Jimmie Invite on Friday

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University women's and men's cross country teams will compete at the Jimmie Invite in Jamestown, N.D., on Friday evening.

The women's 6k race at Parkhurst Campground is scheduled for 5:15 p.m., with the men's 8k race to follow at 6 p.m.

NDSU was originally scheduled to compete at the SDSU Classic in Brookings, S.D., this Friday, but that meet was cancelled.

Jade Rypkema has led the NDSU women at both meets this season, winning the individual title at the Marauders Opener on Sept. 11 before clocking the second-fastest 6k in school history at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 18. Logan Harz and Reagan Berg have been the No. 2 and No. 3 finishers for the Bison women at both meets.

On the men's side, Ethan Moe has led the Bison in both outings this season. Will Gerber and Quinn Roehl have been the No. 2 finishers for NDSU so far this year.

The Bison men are ranked 15th in the Midwest Region in the latest USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings released this week.
