WATERLOO, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa Panthers netted a goal with 12 minutes remaining in the second-half to claim a 1-0 shutout win over the North Dakota State University women's soccer team on Friday, Sept. 1, at Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
Northern Iowa (4-0-0) and the Bison (0-5-0) played to a scoreless draw until UNI's Sarah Brandt placed a shot in the back of the net in the 78th-minute to put the Panthers in front.
For the match, Northern Iowa outshot North Dakota State, 16-4, and posted a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks taken.

Holly Enderle and
Malley O'Brien each tallied a shot on goal to lead the Bison.
North Dakota State is scheduled to travel to Des Moines, Iowa, for a match at Drake Sunday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m.
