Cheer Team Tryout Form

The NDSU cheer team is a coed squad that cheers for home and away football games, home men's and women's basketball games, and postseason away men's and women's basketball games. Members of the NDSU cheer team and mascot program are representatives of the university and athletic department, and may also participate in community events such as pep rallies, parades, and other public relations or charitable events.

Tryouts are held each spring. Selected team members report to campus for early move-in and fall camp practices prior to the start of class. Regular practices are held twice per week, and additional stunting and tumbling workouts are held throughout the year.
