PDF Box Score

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. – The North Dakota State women's soccer team scored a pair of goals in a span of less than three minutes in the second half Sunday, earning a 2-1 victory over the University of North Dakota on the road.

After a scoreless first half, North Dakota took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Katie Moller in the 52nd minute. NDSU was able to respond just over 20 minutes later, netting two goals in 2 minutes and 30 seconds to surge to a 2-1 lead.

Bison senior Hanna Norman beat UND keeper Olivia Swenson in the 76th minute, and senior Malley O'Brien scored for NDSU in the 78th minute. Holly Enderle assisted on both goals, with Roxy Roemer earning the second assist on O'Brien's game-winner.

"The last 20 minutes of the game, I was really proud of our performance," said NDSU head coach Mike Regan. "To be a goal down on the road – and to believe in what you are doing, and then go out and execute – I'm very happy with how we finished the game."

"I'm really proud of our seniors to respond to adversity and win their last game at UND on the road. More importantly, we got the three points before we move on to next week in The Summit League."

NDSU out-shot the Fighting Hawks 17-14 overall and posted a 7-5 advantage in shots on goal. The Bison had 10 corner kicks in the match.

The Bison have now won four of the past five meetings with UND.
