TULSA, Okla. – North Dakota State soccer dropped a tight contest to Oral Roberts 1-0 on Thursday Night at Case Soccer Complex in Summit League play.
 
Oral Roberts was issued a penalty kick in the 70^th minute and Kennedy Langebartels tucked the penalty into the lower right corner for the game's only goal.
 
NDSU goalkeeper Abby Wilkinson made eight saves in the match, including a couple of key diving efforts to keep the game level midway through the first and early in the second half.
 
Offensively, Kelsey Kallio had one of the best chances as her free kick from 23 yards went just past the post. The Bison had several opportunities in the box in the first and second half, but were unable to find the equalizer late.
 
The Bison will now return home to Dacotah Field for an important Summit League match up against North Dakota on Sunday, Oct. 8. The match is set for a 4 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast live on WDAY Xtra and streamed live on the Summit League Network.
