NDSU Women’s Golf Posts Highest GPA in Division I

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's golf team recorded the highest grade point average in NCAA Division I in the 2023-24 season, the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bison boasted a 3.94 cumulative GPA to take the top spot on the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award under the direction of head coach Matt Johnson. San Jose State and Marshall were tied for second place with a 3.91 GPA.
Earlier this month, Cora Larson, Leah Skaar, Catherine Monty, Madi Hicks, Elise Hoven and Norah Roberts were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, which recognizes student-athletes with at least a 3.50 GPA.
