SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Junior forward Avery Koenen has been named the Summit League Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Koenen helped guide the Bison (8-2) to their sixth straight win at Eastern Illinois last week. The Montevideo, Minn., native netted a game-high 22 points with a career-best 16 rebounds for her fourth straight double-double performance. Koenen also added four steals, three assists and one block to her stat line.

Koenen currently ranks in the top 15 nationally in field goal percentage (3rd, 69.1), double-doubles (8th, 6) and defensive rebounds per game (15th, 7.8).
