IRVING, Texas - North Dakota State wrestling had five members of the team named to the 2025 Academic All-Big 12 Team, announced the league office this week.

All-American Gavin Drexler headlines the list of Bison to earn the academic honor, joined by Boeden Greenley, Brendan Howes, Max Petersen and Gabriel Schumm.

To qualify for the team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher either cumulatively or during the two previous semesters, and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except for participation are also eligible.
