The North Dakota State University men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota on Friday, Sept. 19.
Â
The eight-kilometer Division I men's race will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. The women's 6k is scheduled to follow at 10:45 a.m.
Â
At the season-opening Marauders Invite on Sept. 5, seniors Reagan Baesler and
Jacob Knodle swept the individual titles to lead the Bison women and men to the team championships. Baesler won her race by a 34-second margin.
Â
Baesler led the Bison women at the Griak last year, taking fourth place overall to lead NDSU to 10th place in the women's team standings. Only Kelby Anderson, who finished third at the 2018 Griak, has placed higher in the school's Division I era at the meet.
Â
The Bison men also finished 10th in the team race at the Roy Griak Invitational last year, with
Ethan Moe as the top returner this season after finishing 60th a year ago.
