GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team claimed its 10th indoor title in 19 years at the Summit League Indoor Championships on Saturday at the Pollard Athletic Center.
 
The Bison men won five more event titles on the final day of the meet and scored points in nearly every event to secure the team championship. NDSU finished with 191.5 points, and South Dakota was the runner-up with 145 points.
 
This was NDSU's first men's indoor team title since 2021.
 
Junior Paul Olson defended his heptathlon title, scoring a lifetime-best 5,667 points. He is now No. 3 in NDSU history. Owen Angell was the runner-up with a personal-best 5,216 points. Trey Knoke finished sixth at 4,277 points.
 
Kaleb Foltz won the 800m in a meet record and personal-best 1:48.25.
 
Reece Grosserode claimed the triple jump crown with a personal-best 51-00.25 (15.55m) – just 1/4" off the 38-year-old school record. Carter Reckelberg leaped 48-06.75 (14.80m) to claim fourth place.
 
Kaden Pastian captured the Summit League title in the shot put with a throw of 59-11.75 (18.28m). He moved up to No. 9 in NDSU history. Paul Hoekman, Jack Packer, and Aiden Krause finished 3-6-7 behind Pastian. Hoekman threw a personal-best 56-00.00 (17.07m) to claim third, with Packer throwing 54-09.50 (16.70m) for sixth, and Krause in seventh with a mark of 54-04.00 (16.56m).
 
The 4x400m relay was the final NDSU event title, with the team of Ramon Duran, Kaleb Foltz, Josh Berger, and Zackery Bruder securing the crown in dramatic fashion with a time of 3:14.23.
 
Bruder was the runner-up in the 400m dash, clocking a personal-best 47.95. Gabe Miles took fifth in 48.53.
 
Carl Rekow ran 4:06.60 to claim third in the mile, and Quinn Roehl took fifth with 4:06.99.
 
Zach McGlynn, Andrew Berg, and Olson finished fourth, fifth, and in a tie for sixth in the high jump. McGlynn cleared 6-09.50 (2.07m) to take fourth, Berg jumped 6-08.25 (2.04m) to finish fifth, and Olson cleared 6-06.25 (1.99m) to land in a tie for sixth.
 
Joshua Kyei-Baffour ran 7.91 in the 60m hurdles to finish in third place. Knoke took sixth in 8.23.
 
Tyler Milkes ran 21.62 in the 200m dash to take fourth place. Jeran McNichols ran a season-best 6.78 for fourth in the 60m dash. Jayden Murdock finished seventh with a 6.94.
 
McGlynn was named the Championships Field MVP, and Reckelberg earned Newcomer of the Championship.
