Bartels Named Summit League Kwik Star Peak Golfer of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sophomore Avery Bartels has been named the Summit League Kwik Star Peak Golfer of the Week for the first time in her career, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon.
Bartels earned her third top 10 finish of the season after finishing tied for 7th place at +5 overall at the SoCal Spring Invitational. The Oxbow, N.D., native assembled rounds of 72, 75 and 71 for a 54-hole total of 218 to climb up four spots in the final round.
Bartels becomes the third different Bison to earn the award this season.

NDSU will be back in action at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" in Phoenix, Ariz., on March 23-24.
