NDSU to Play in 2027 Vegas Kickoff Classic

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State's football game on the 2027 Labor Day weekend against Montana State at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is still on as scheduled, NDSU athletic director Matt Larsen announced Wednesday, March 25.
The matchup, which is part of the 2027 Vegas Kickoff Classic operated by ESPN Events, was originally announced in August 2025 prior to NDSU's invitation to the Mountain West Conference.
The game date, time and broadcast network have yet to be announced. The 2027 Vegas Kickoff Classic also includes the "Battle of the U" between the Miami Hurricanes and Utah Utes, which is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 4.
