The North Dakota State University men's and women's track & field teams will open the 2026 outdoor season competing in four different meets this week.

A majority of the Bison will travel to Baton Rouge, La., for LSU's Battle on the Bayou on Friday and Saturday, Apr. 3-4.

The Bison throwers will compete at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State in San Marcos, Texas, from Thursday through Saturday, Apr. 2-4. The NDSU distance and mid-distance squads will run in California at the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic on Apr. 3-4.

The NDSU men and women were both voted the preseason favorites to win the Summit League outdoor team titles after sweeping the league's indoor crowns in February.
