AZUSA, Calif. – North Dakota State junior Ethan Moe broke the school record in the 1500 meters late Saturday night to cap a strong weekend of performances by the Bison distance squad at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif.

Moe (Williston, N.D.) ran 3:40.74 to break Travis Fitzke's 2013 NDSU all-time best (3:42.32) by nearly two seconds.

Moe trimmed more than two seconds off his previous 1500m personal-best of 3:43.09, also passing Bison legend Mike Bollman to move from third to first on the NDSU all-time list.

NDSU's Quinn Roehl also ran a personal-best 3:46.33 in the 1500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational. He ranks fifth in school history.

Carl Rekow, who stands at fourth-fastest on the NDSU all-time list, posted a time of 3:46.10 on Saturday night. Will Gerber clocked 3:53.39 for the third-best time of his career.
