Bison Men’s Track & Field Team, 11 Individuals Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

The North Dakota State men's track & field team and 11 of its individual student athletes were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic performers, the organization announced Monday.
As a team, the Bison men recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.55 to earn the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award for the 21st consecutive season. A minimum team cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required for the award.
Owen Angell, Adam Dugger, Kaleb Foltz, Reece Grosserode, Joshua Kyei-Baffour, Zach Lilly, Zach McGlynn, Ethan Moe, Paul Olson, Kaden Pastian and Carter Reckelberg were recognized as All-Academic individuals.
Dugger, McGlynn, Olson and Pastian were repeat honorees from a year ago.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either of the following athletic standards: for the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 in a relay event on the official NCAA performance list; for the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships, including preliminary rounds.
