Empey, Williams, Wilson Named to HERO Sports G6 Preseason All-America Team

A trio of North Dakota State football players have been recognized on the HERO Sports G6 Preseason All-America Team announced Friday, Aug. 14.
Offensive lineman Griffin Empey and return specialist Jackson Williams were named to the second team, and defensive lineman Keenan Wilson was selected to the third team.
Empey (Stoughton, Wis.) was named an All-American at the FCS level by five outlets following last season. He started all 13 games for the Bison at right guard.
Williams (Omaha, Neb.) earned Phil Steele FCS All-America second team honors last year as a punt returner and was one of three players in all of Division I football to have both a kick return touchdown and punt return touchdown in 2025.
Wilson (Eagan, Minn.) claimed FCS All-America accolades from three outlets last season, starting all 13 games at defensive tackle and posting 8.0 tackles-for-loss and 4.0 sacks.
