NDSU Soccer Wraps Home Stand vs. Presbyterian on Sunday

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State soccer will wrap up a six-game home stand, as the Bison welcome in Presbyterian on Sunday, August 30. The Bison and the Blue Hose will meet for the first time in series history, with kickoff set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Dacotah Field.

Admission & Parking
Admission to all NDSU soccer home matches is free. Parking is available in Lot R west of Dacotah Field after 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays and all day on Sunday. Additional parking is available in Fargodome lots C and D.
Series History
The Bison will face Presbyterian for the first time in program history on the soccer pitch on Sunday. NDSU and Presbyterian have met head-to-head just once across all sports, with NDSU Women's Basketball claiming a 66-51 win in the 2000-01 season opener at the Disney Division II Tip-Off Classic.
Russmann Moves Up Career Charts
With a goal in the win over Prairie View A&M, Morgan Russmann climbed up the career charts. Russmann scored her seventh career game-winning goal, which moves her into a tie for third in the Division I era, matching Michelle Martinez and Britney Monteon. Her goal also brings her to 19 for her career, one shy of Quin Ryan in fifth all-time for the Bison since moving to Div. 1.
Miller, Sanchez Score First Career Goals
Maddie Miller and Ellie Sanchez scored their first career goals to lift NDSU past Prairie View A&M. Miller knocked in her first career goal and point with the game's opening goal in the 31st minute. Sanchez secured the win with the game's final goal in the 79th minute.
Stanchina With First Two-Assist Game
Ava Stanchina recorded her first career two-assist game against Prairie View A&M. Stanchina set up the go-ahead goal with a free kick that was finished by Morgan Russmann. Stanchina then added a second with an outlet pass to Chloe Birch, who also got her first career assist, setting up Ellie Sanchez.
Looking Ahead
After six-straight home games to start the regular season, North Dakota State will head west for a pair of games in Santa Barbara, California next week. NDSU will open up the week by taking Westmont on Thursday. Kickoff against the Warriors is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. CT at Thorrington Field.
