NDSU Soccer Opens California Trip at Westmont Thursday

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State soccer hits the road for the first time during the regular season and heads west for a pair of games in Santa Barbara, California this week. NDSU will open up the week by taking Westmont on Thursday. Kickoff against the Warriors is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. CT at Thorrington Field.

Tickets
Tickets for NDSU's game at Westmont are available at athletics.westmont.edu/tickets. General Admission is $12, with seniors (65+) at $8 and all college and high school students at $6. Children under 12 are free admission.
Series History
The Bison will face Westmont for the first time in program history on the soccer pitch on Sunday. NDSU and Westmont have met in head-to-head competition.
Mulberry Snags Second Shutout of Season
Payton Mulberry picked up her second shutout of the season and ninth career cleansheet on Sunday against Presbyterian, helping the Bison earn a 0-0 draw against the Blue Hose. With the shutout, Mulberry moved into ninth on her own on the all-time shutouts list at NDSU, surpassing Karli Kopietz.
50 for Arnold, Zacher
Hannah Arnold and Tyreese Zacher reached the 50 career starts milestone on Sunday against Presbyterian. The duo is tied for second on the active starts list at NDSU and are both over 4,000 career minutes since stepping on campus in 2023.
Miller, Sanchez Score First Career Goals
Maddie Miller and Ellie Sanchez scored their first career goals to lift NDSU past Prairie View A&M. Miller scored her first goal and first career points with the game's opening goal in the 31st minute. After having a goal called back for offsides against Marquette earlier this season, Sanchez secured her first goal and iced the win with the game's final goal in the 79th minute.
De Wit Gets the Call Up
NDSU freshman and New Zealand international Amber de Wit has been selected to represent her country at the U20 Women's World Cup in September.
De Wit has been a key part of the youth national team setup for New Zealand, captaining for the U17 New Zealand national team. The Christchurch native has consistently been in the New Zealand squad on the U16, U17 and U19 OFC FIFA Qualifier team.
De Wit and New Zealand's opening match will be Sunday, September 6 in Łódź, Poland against Japan. They will also play Italy and the USA in group play.
