NDSU Announces Limited-Edition Jersey Auction for Homecoming, First Mountain West Home Game

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State Athletics has announced a special limited-edition football jersey and accompanying auction surrounding the Bison's homecoming game and first-ever Mountain West home contest against Wyoming on Saturday, October 3, at 2:40 p.m. CT at the Fargodome.
The custom Under Armour jerseys will be worn for one game only and feature a hidden mountain design incorporated into the uniform as a nod to NDSU's inaugural season in the Mountain West.
Bison fans can bid on the limited-edition jerseys at NDSUAuction.com, with proceeds benefiting the Climb the Mountain fund in alignment with the football program's move to the FBS and Mountain West Conference in 2026. Proceeds of the Climb the Mountain fund directly impact areas including student-athlete scholarships, expanded operational resources, recruiting, staffing, NIL opportunities, and facility improvements.
"This is a special season for North Dakota State Athletics, our football program and our fans," said Troy Goergen, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations and Strategic Revenue. "We are thrilled to give Bison fans, whether they are in Fargo or following us from across the country, an opportunity to bid on and own a piece of history from our first Mountain West home game. These jerseys are truly unique collector's items tied to an important moment for NDSU."
The online auction is open now (Tuesday, September 29) and feature game-worn jerseys, along with additional limited-edition items available to bidders across the country. Registration and bidding are free, and the auction will close Monday, October 5, at 6 p.m. CT.
The October 3 matchup is also part of NDSU's annual homecoming celebration and Code Green, with Bison fans encouraged to wear green for the historic Mountain West home opener.
The auction platform will be hosted and promoted through NDSU Athletics' partnership with Athletics Admin, a collegiate athletics consulting firm that works with athletic departments on revenue generation, marketing and other strategic initiatives.
