Biography

Walk-on to the North Dakota State football program when school started in 2009.

2008-09 Season (Senior): Member of the Summit League tournament and regular season championship team that advanced to the 2009 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament before falling to Kansas in the first round...Played in 12 games and averaged 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.

2007-08 Season (Junior): Saw limited action in 17 games after being ruled ineligible for the first 11 contests...Activated for the Cal Golden Bear Classic on Dec. 28-29...Made 3 of 6 free throws in the championship loss to California...Three points was his season high in four different games...Had four rebounds at home against Western Illinois and blocked two shots at UMKC...Made his only start at Western Illinois.

2006-07 Season (Sophomore): Played in 26 of 28 games and made four starts...Made his first collegiate start in place of injured center Lucas Moormann on Jan. 16 at home to Mary...Played a season-high 23 minutes, scored six points on 3-of-4 shooting and swatted a career-high five shots...Had 17 games with a blocked shot, including 10 in a four-game span from Jan. 9-25...Finished the year as NDSU’s second-leading shot blocker with 30...Tied a career high with eight rebounds in a win at Texas-Pan American, including six offensive boards.

2005-06 Season (Freshman): Appeared in all 28 games off the Bison bench...Sixteen games with 10-plus minutes and six with 20-plus...NDSU’s second-leading shot blocker with 23 rejections...Ranked eighth among the Division I independents with 0.8 blocks per game...Had a swat in seven straight games at one point...Had eight points and five boards vs. Mary...Scored seven points, grabbed five rebounds and rejected two shots in the Eastern Michigan win...Averaged 6.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in NDSU’s two exhibition games...Had 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks in 19 minutes off the bench in the win over Minnesota State Moorhead.

High School: Prepped at Platte County (Mo.) High School under coach Rick Hodge...Graduated in 2005...Averaged 11 points and 8.5 rebounds his senior year...Blocked 95 shots and scored 1,240 points in his career...Four-time all-conference pick...Named to the all-region team three times...Class 4 all-state as a junior.
