Hank Jacobs was named director of football recruiting at North Dakota State University in 2015 and was elevated to director of football operations from 2016 through 2018. He coordinated the day-to-day operations for the Bison football staff including team travel, campus visits and other recruiting activities.
Jacobs was an offensive lineman on the NDSU football team from 2009 to 2011 before spending two years as an undergraduate assistant. Â He was a two-time Missouri Valley Football Conference honor roll member and earned the Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.
Jacobs was named offensive intern in 2014 and assisted the Bison staff in many of the same recruiting duties he assumed in the new position.
A product of Beaver Dam High School in Wisconsin, he was an Associated Press all-state second team performer his senior year and was named Little Ten Conference lineman of the year. Â He was a three-time all-conference honoree.
Jacobs graduated from North Dakota State in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in finance.
