Seven-time NCAA Division II Track & Field All-American … Four-time NCAA Outdoor (1995, 3rd long jump; 1994, 8th long jump; 1993, 7th 400 relay, 7th long jump) … Three-time NCAA Indoor (1995, 6th long jump; 1994, 3rd long jump; 1993, 8th long jump) ... Nine-time North Central Conference Track & Field individual champion, while running on three winning relays ... Was 28-time all-conference performer overall ... NDSU won seven NCC titles including four conference outdoor championships during career ... Recipient of the 1995 Albrecht Presidential Student-Athlete Trophy and NCC Honor Athlete Award… Versatile performer in the sprints and jumps ... Named Associate Director of Wellness at Eastern Kentucky University in 2011 … Promoted to Director of Campus Recreation at EKU in 2015 … Named Executive Director of Campus Life in 2017, where he oversees the departments of Campus Recreation, Student Life and First Year Experience, and Multicultural Student Affairs … In June 2016 received the highest civilian honor the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky can bestow, the title of Kentucky Colonel … Nominated by EKU President Michael Benson … He and wife, Marissa, have two boys, Bryce and Broc … Has been a volunteer assistant coach to his oldest son’s middle school track and field team, and youngest son’s middle school football team.
