Stratton Named Summit League Co-Defensive Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. - North Dakota State junior Abbey Stratton earned Summit League Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Bison to a 1-0 shutout win over Green Bay. She shares the honor with Southern Utah goalie Charly Booth, who posted two shutouts this weekend.

Stratton, a Champlin, Minn. native, helped limit the Phoenix to just six shots and only two on goal. She also stopped Green Bay's returning leading scorer from taking a single shot. Stratton registered two shots in the win.

This is her second career player of the week honor.
