MINNEAPOLIS – North Dakota State junior
Paige Stratioti broke the school record in the 600m run to lead the Bison women's track & field team on Saturday at the Jack Johnson Classic hosted by the University of Minnesota. Stratioti took the 600m title in 1:31.00 to break All-American Laura Hermanson's record of 1:31.35 set in 2009.
The Duluth, Minn., native also ranks fifth in school history in the indoor 400m and eighth in the indoor 800m. Stratioti ran on the school record-setting 4x400m relay in 2012.
NDSU finished third in the team scoring Saturday with 98 points, behind only Big Ten schools Minnesota and Iowa.
Junior
Maddie McClellan jumped to No. 4 on the NDSU all-time list in the 3,000m, taking fifth today in 9:48.49. Sophomore
Erin Teschuk moved to No. 6 all-time at NDSU in the mile, placing third today in 4:54.01.
Ashley Tingelstad won the 400m dash in a time of 55.87 for her second event title of the meet after winning the 200m dash on Friday. Bison junior
Emily Lesser won the weight throw with a mark of 61-03.50 (18.68m) and placed sixth in the shot put.
Unattached NDSU senior
Deborah John won the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.41 seconds. John has exhausted her indoor eligibility, but has one season of outdoor eligibility remaining with NDSU.
Senior sprinter
Antoinette Goodman placed third in the 60m dash with a season-best time of 7.64 seconds. NDSU freshman
Jenny Guibert clocked a season-best 800m time of 2:14.65 for third place.
Junior
Ashlynn Simon finished eighth in the 600m in 1:38.34, redshirt freshman
Amy Andrushko was 10th in the 800m in 2:16.17, and freshman
Morgan Milbrath ran 58.18 for 13th place in the 400m.

Ashley Heinze and Stratioti teamed up to take third in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:47.03 – ranking just outside the NDSU all-time top 10.
NDSU will compete next at the Bill Bergan Invitational hosted by Iowa State on Feb. 1.
