The North Dakota State University women's track & field team broke three school records between two meets on Saturday, Feb. 15, making for one of the best single-day performances in NDSU indoor history.

Paige Stratioti broke their own two-week-old school record in the 4x400m relay at the Iowa State Classic, running 3:37.42 to win the event and rank 13th in the nation this season. The quartet topped their previous record of 3:39.62 set on the same track at the Bill Bergan Invitational on Feb. 1. They have now trimmed 3.70 seconds off the 4x400m school record in the last two weeks.
At the Bison Open inside the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility in Fargo, junior
Emily Lesser shattered the NDSU school record in the weight throw, posting a mark of 64-04.00 (19.61m) to break Diandra Bauer's previous record from 2001 by more than two feet. Lesser's throw ranks her among the top 40 on the national performance list in the event.
Later at the Bison Open, junior
Maddie McClellan took down the third record of the day, improving the best 5,000m time in school history by more than 20 seconds. McClellan won in a time of 16:47.55 – destroying the previous NDSU record of 17:09.18 set by Amy Jo Thorne in 2012. McClellan now leads The Summit League this season and ranks among the top 80 in the nation.
NDSU's
Caitlin Mack cleared 13-03.50 (4.05m) to win the Bison Open pole vault and notch a personal best in her second straight meet. That height ranks her second in school history and top-40 in NCAA Division I this season.
Freshman
Rose Jackson won the Bison Open 60m dash in a personal-best 7.79 seconds and was third in the long jump with a leap of 18-09.00 (5.71m). Redshirt freshman
Amy Andrushko took the 800m title in a season-best 2:12.26, and freshman
Jenny Guibert was a close second in 2:12.46.
Senior
Antoinette Goodman clocked the second-fastest indoor 200m of her career to win in 24.11 at the Bison Open. Lesser claimed the shot put title with a throw of 48-09.00 (14.86m) to go along with her first-place finish in the weight throw.
Tingelstad was fourth in the 400m in 54.33 at Iowa State, and Stratioti placed ninth in the 800m in 2:08.07. Stratioti's 800m time was the second-fastest of her career.
