FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State and Oral Roberts finished in a double overtime draw Friday night at the Dacotah Field Bubble in a Summit League soccer match. Each team scored a goal in each half in the 2-2 draw.
NDSU is 6-8-1 after the match, while the Golden Eagles are 2-11-1. The two teams will finish the season on Sunday, with kickoff set for 12 p.m.
The first goal of the match gave Oral Roberts a 1-0 lead, as an own goal for the Bison in the 32nd minute gave the Golden Eagles the lead. Just over two minutes later,
McKenna Strand found
Jess Hanley for a goal in the 34th minute. It was the first career assist for Strand and the second goal of the year for Hanley.
Midway through the second half, Pamela Caballeros found Mia Kitterman for her third goal of the season, giving Oral Roberts a 2-1 lead. Less than four minutes later,
Olivia Lovick scored her fifth goal of the year off a pass from
Kelsey Kallio. It was the fourth assist of the year for Kallio.
Danielle Algera, Hanley and Kallio each had three shots on goal to lead the Bison. Playing 110 minutes in the net,
Aly Cole recorded a pair of saves, as she moved to 4-6-1 on the year.Â
NDSU had a 15-7 advantage in shots, including 5-0 in the two overtime periods.
