McGlynn, Renschler Named Most Outstanding Performers; Keller Earns 25th Coach of the Year Honor

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State track & field standouts Zach McGlynn and Paige Renschler were named The Summit League's Most Outstanding Performers of the Championship for the 2026 outdoor season, the league announced Tuesday, May 19.
NDSU head coach Stevie Keller was chosen as the Summit League Men's Outdoor Coach of the Year after leading the Bison to a decisive sweep of the team titles last weekend in Fargo.
The Bison men won their 16th outdoor Summit League title by a 76-point margin, and the NDSU women captured their 17th outdoor team crown by a 50-point margin.
This is Keller's 25th Summit League Coach of the Year honor overall across women's, men's, indoor, and outdoor track & field.
McGlynn won the Summit League decathlon with a career-best score of 7,922 points, breaking the school, meet, and facility records. His performance was a 225-point improvement over his previous best and ranks fifth in the NCAA this season.
Renschler swept the 100m dash (11.24) and 200m dash (22.98) titles with school, meet, and facility records in both events. She also ran on NDSU's first-place 4x100m relay squad.
The Most Outstanding Performer of the Championship is determined by a vote of the head coaches and is based upon the student-athletes' performance during the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
