NDSU Soccer Welcomes in South Dakota for Summit League Home Opener

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State soccer returns home to Dacotah Field for the first Summit League home game of the season on Sunday, September 27, as the Bison welcome in South Dakota. NDSU will take on the Coyotes in the first of two matches this season, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.

Admission & Parking
Admission to all NDSU soccer home matches is free. Parking is available in Lot R west of Dacotah Field after 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays and all day on Sunday. Additional parking is available in Fargodome lots C and D.
Series History
The Bison face South Dakota for the 24th time in series history. NDSU leads the series with a 16-6-1 record, including a 11-6-1 record in the Division I era. The Bison are 10-1 all-time at home against the Coyotes, including six-straight wins dating back to 2013.
Last Season vs. South Dakota
NDSU powered through a back-and-forth battle in Vermillion, scoring three second-half goals to come from behind and earn a 4-3 victory.
After South Dakota scored the opening goal in the 14th minute, Kendall Stadden found an equalizer in the 32nd minute. Isabel Garcia then struck in the 59th minute to give NDSU its first lead of the night.
South Dakota was issued a penalty kick after VAR review in the 65th minute, and the Coyotes answered with the penalty kick goal. However, Loretta Wacek put the Bison back in front in the 73rd minute.
The Coyotes equalized again just three minutes later, but Stadden provided the difference, scoring the winning goal in the 83rd minute.
Looking Ahead
North Dakota State will remain at home next week, with a single game scheduled against South Dakota State on homecoming on Saturday, October 3. The Bison will take on the Jackrabbits in the first of two matches this season, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. at Dacotah Field.
