HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2018 from Wheeling High School...Three-year starter...Played defensive line, offensive line and tight end under coaches Brent Pearlman and Brian Hauck...Also competed in basketball and baseball.

PERSONAL: Majoring in economics...Son of Robert and Denice Dirkes...Father was a CoSIDA Academic All-American and All-Big Ten defensive lineman at Northwestern...Has a sister, Celine.
