Veteran who could be one of the best centers in the nation...Preseason pick to the All-Great West Football Conference first team...Enters the 2004 season with a string of 31 consecutive starts over the previous three seasons...He has not missed a start since the opening game of his collegiate career, even while wearing a cast on his snapping hand last season...Has the ability to be a dominating force...Physical player with good quickness and great size...2003 SEASON (SENIOR): Started all 11 games as a center and team captain for the Bison, leading the Herd to 30.1 points per game and 355.5 yards per game of total offense...2002 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Started all 10 games for NDSU at center while helping the Herd to 338 yards and 20 points per game on offense...2001 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Started all 10 games for the Bison at center as a freshman and played very well...Helped the Bison average 335 yards and 35 points per game on offense in 2001...2000 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2000 season as a redshirt in the Bison grid program...HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Cavalier High School where he was a two-time all-conference, two-time all-region, and two-time all-state selection...Also competed in wrestling where he was a three-time state qualifier and two-time state placewinner...State runner-up as a senior and twice the team's Most Valuable Wrestler...PERSONAL: Majoring in corporate/community health and fitness...Enjoys golf and watching football in his spare time...One of five children in the family...Son of Tim Hunt and the late Deb Hunt of Cavalier.
