Outdoor (Redshirt): Competed in one meet before missing the remainder of the season due to injury … Threw 219-7 (66.93m) in the javelin at the Baldy Castillo Invitational in March to rank 8th all-time at NDSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Canadian junior national champion in the javelin in 2016 … In his senior season, he won provincial titles in track & field (javelin), tennis and basketball … High school personal-best javelin mark of 215-3 (65.61m) as a junior in 2015 … Set the North Shore conference javelin record as a senior in 2016 … Also played basketball, soccer and tennis, helping Collingwood to the 2016 British Columbia AA provincial title in basketball and the 2014 and 2015 provincial titles in tennis.
