The North Dakota State women's and men's track & field teams will travel to the Husker Spring Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., on Friday, Apr. 5, and Saturday, Apr. 6, for a four-team meet featuring the Bison, Northern Iowa, UMKC and host Nebraska.
The meet is scheduled to begin with the hammer throw at 4 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, field events start with the women's javelin at 11:30 a.m., and the women's long jump and pole vault at 1 p.m. Running events begin at 1 p.m. with the 3000m steeplechase.
Two weeks into the outdoor season, the Bison have already established 21 new marks that rank among the school's all-time Top 10 lists – 12 by the NDSU women, and nine by the men.
Thirteen NDSU performances currently rank among the top 25 in the NCAA this season, led by senior Payton Otterdahl who ranks first nationally in the shot put, third in the discus, and 14th in the hammer throw.
