Outdoor (Junior): Summit League champion in the 4x400m relay … Season best 400m time of 48.62 and personal best 200m time of 21.90.

2022-23 SEASON
 
Indoor (Freshman): Summit League champion in the 4x400m relay, and placed 3rd in the 400m dash at the Summit League Championships … Indoor season-best of 48.81 in the 400m at the UND Open … Also clocked 35.16 in the 300m dash at the Bison Open … Member of the Bison 4x400m relay that ran 3:12.56 at the Music City Challenge to rank 6th in NDSU history.
Outdoor (Sophomore): Summit League champion in the 4x400m relay, setting the NDSU outdoor facility record in 3:10.80 … Summit League runner-up in the 400m dash in a personal-best 47.73 … Member of the Bison 4x400m relay that clocked 3:09.79 at the Stanford Invitational to rank 9th in school history … 400m hurdles season-best of 54.33 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

2021-22 SEASON
 
Indoor (Redshirt): Did not compete.
Outdoor (Freshman): Placed 5th in the 400m hurdles at the Summit League Outdoor Championships … Personal-best 400m hurdles time of 54.44 in the prelims at the conference meet … Won the event at UMary’s Al Bortke Open on Apr. 9.

High School: North Dakota Class A state champion in the 300m hurdles as a senior in 2021, taking first in a personal-best 37.87 … Also state runner-up in the 400m dash (49.78) and 4x400m relay as a senior, and took 8th in the 110m hurdles … State runner-up in the 300m hurdles as a sophomore in 2019, and took 3rd in the event as a freshman in 2018 … Saint Mary’s Central school record holder in the 300m hurdles, 110m hurdles, and 400m dash … Two-time 1st Team all-state running back in football and Powerade Senior Athlete of the Year for North Dakota … All-state defenseman in hockey as a senior.
 
Personal: Son of Bill and Gretchen Curl … His father, Bill, was a javelin thrower for the Bison who graduated from NDSU in 1992 … His mother, Gretchen, graduated from NDSU in 1991 … Has one older brother, Byrne, who ran mid-distance for the Bison from 2015-18 … Two sisters, Britta and Brenna … Britta was a standout hockey player for Wisconsin and is a member of the U.S. National Team.
